Post-national belongings, cosmopolitan becomings and mediating mobilities

چکیده
In this commentary piece, I combine insights gained from the various contributions to special issue with my own research and understanding trace (dis)connections between, on one hand, (post-)nationalism its underlying concept of belonging and, other cosmopolitanism becoming. pay attention human (im)mobilities mediating these processes. This critical thinking exercise confirms that relationship between place, collective identity socio-cultural processes identification is a contested aspect social theory. discussion, suggest four points be addressed in future if we want make existing theories about post-national formations cosmopolitanization more robust against huge complex challenges humankind facing.
